DSST is a US Masters Swimming team and was formed in the Spring 1985 to prepare San Diego swimmers for the first Gay Games. DSST has grown steadily over the years and now has over 200 men and women on its roster. Swimmers of all ages, skill levels, and sexual orientation are welcomed.

Lambda Archives of San Diego was founded in 1987 to collect, preserve and teach LGBT history and culture, focusing on the San Diego/Tijuana region. This year's Predit History exhibit focuses on SDSU's Gay Liberation Front in the 1970s, and the history of AIDS.
