San Diego County Wedding Information
The San Diego County Clerk's Office is now offering marriage licenses to same-gender couples! Below is information on receiving a marriage license in San Diego County.
Appointments are required to obtain a marriage license and/or a civil ceremony. Walk-in marriage licenses are generally not available, and the County requires an appointment to be made in advance.
Appointment line hours are from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday. To schedule an appointment for the Downtown, San Marcos, Chula Vista and El Cajon offices, call 619-237-0502.

Weddings at the 2013 San Diego Pride Festival
A Wedding Chapel will be available at the San Diego Pride Festival for use by couples who wish to hold their ceremony in the middle of the largest celebration the city has ever seen! The outdoor chapel will be located near the Mo's Universe Playground area within the festival grounds.
Couples may sign-up for a 15-minute slot on a first-come, first-served basis by contacting Kristin Riemedio at 619-297-7683 x 118 or by e-mailing email@example.com. Appointments will be accepted between 12:05 pm and 9:40 pm on Saturday, July 13; and between 11:05 am and 7:45 pm on Sunday, July 14.
Officiants will not be provided - couples are required to arrange for their own officiants.
