GENERAL INFORMATION
The annual San Diego LGBT Pride Parade is the 4th largest in the
United States attracting 200,000 cheering spectators and significant
media participation
Date: Saturday, July 13, 2013
Time: 11 am
Location: The parade
begins at University Ave. and Normal Street, proceeds west on University
Avenue to 6th Avenue, turns south on 6th Avenue, ending at Balboa Drive
and Upas Street.
Route: 1.5 miles | 2 hours 2010

To participate in the parade you need to fit into one of these five categories:
- Non-profit Organization: This includes organizations sanctioned by the IRS with a 501(c)(3) status or those with 501(c)(3) applications pending.
- Social Organization: This category is for those organizations representing an individual or a group without a tax status.
- Small Business: Small Business Rate is designed for locally based businesses such as bars, restaurants, stores, and other business organizations without a corporate presence and/or multiple physical locations. San Diego Pride reserves the right to make this determination.
- Government/Political: This category includes elected officials, City, State, Federal, Tribal agencies, those running for political office, organizations that improve business conditions, and organizations having a 501(c)(4), (6), or 527 status.
- National Corporations or Franchises: This category includes entities with multiple locations, whether local or national, and corporate entities.
