I have been working for LGBT rights since 1970’s. I was a board member of the New York City Heritage of Pride, president of the Gay Officers Actions League (GOAL) and served on the Mayors Advisory Board for Gay and Lesbian Concerns. I relocated to San Diego in 1989 and was eventually employed by San Diego County Probation for 20 years before retiring. While with Probation, I served as the chair of Probations’ Diversity Committee. Since my retirement, I again became in our community with the Fellowship of Older Gays and am currently their president. I am also on the South Bay Prides Steering Committee and a representative to the Community Leadership Council. Wanting to serve the community further, I joined the San Diego Pride Board in January 2016 with the hope and desire to share my passion, excitement and leadership abilities to further the mission and vision of San Diego Pride.
