This workshop is intended for anyone who identifies with the Queer, Asian, Pacific Islander, Middle Eastern, Desi, American community.
Breaking Down Barriers, an outreach and education program aimed to normalize the conversation of mental health in communities that have been historically under-served will be leading a ‘Reclaiming self care’ workshop.
Gabby Masuda (she,her,hers) is the outreach coordinator for the Asian Pacific Islander community. She is fourth generation Japanese American, matcha enthusiast, and is passionate about using creativity as a form of healing.
Lily Mojdehi (she, her, hers) is the outreach coordinator of the Middle Eastern community. She is second generation Iranian American, who is passionate about anti-racist work, Persian dance, and learning about her cultures ancient healing practices.
