Kyle Winnick (he/him/his) has lived in the San Diego area since 2010 and is the Marketing and Communications Coordinator for San Diego Pride. Kyle worked in marketing for the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center, where he was able to establish a management system that worked directly with departments to understand needs and develop marketing strategies that would successfully showcase each program and departmental identity. He was also a vital part in understanding the need and importance of new branding and brand management for the organization and was able to find new ways to share the updated guidelines with his colleagues, helping them successfully brand their programs. Additionally, he worked with Jewish Federation of San Diego County, instituting new social media standards and expanding the presence of the organization on social media platforms Instagram and Twitter. He has also worked in communications functions for the community chorus Encore Vocal Ensemble, for which he is also a singing member. He has a true passion for bringing communities together and showcasing an organization in its best light.
In his spare time Kyle enjoys being part of the performing arts community. He has performed locally with the Coronado Playhouse, OB Playhouse & Theatre Company, and PowPAC, Poway’s Community Theatre. He has also been a singing member of the San Diego branch of the Tinseltone Carolers, the San Diego Gay Men’s Chorus, and Encore Vocal Ensemble.
He also enjoys cooking, watching his husband bake, and playing with their two rescue dogs, Jimmy & Millie.
