Pronouns: they/them/elle

Ser Flores is a trans nonbinary person living on occupied Kumeyaay-Kumiai territory. They are a recent graduate from San Diego State, where they received their Masters in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. They learned about intersectional/intentional programming from observing and participating in their peers’ events at UC Davis after transferring from community college. Later using that knowledge to put on programming for queer and trans latine students, workshops focused on basic needs (food security, medical care, housing), and events centering transformation and healing through storytelling and community pláticas.
Outside of work, they enjoy writing, spending time with their dog and loved ones, watching funny TV shows, and being a lifelong learner/(un)learner.
