Pride Parade
Senior Seating
Pride hosts one Senior & Accessible seating area at the Parade at the southwest corner of University Ave. and Richmond St. The seating area is shaded & wheelchair accessible, and will provide snacks, water, an announcer, and ASL Interpreters. The are surrounding the seating area will be loud and crowded.
One guest is permitted to accompany a guest requiring the accessible seating area. Seating is limited and we would like to prioritize guests who would benefit most from the Senior & Accessible seating area. Reservations can be made through San Diego LGBT Community Center by contacting [email protected] or (619) 692-2077 ext. 147. Reservations must be made in advance and seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
San Diego Pride Festival Tickets
Discounted Tickets
Seniors age 65 and older are eligible for day-of discount general admission tickets at $15 with valid identification. Tickets are only available at the festival box office.
*New this Year: Cashless* – As we continue to enhance the experience for attendees and participants at the San Diego Pride Festival in 2024, we are excited to announce our transition to a cashless event. Please note that ATMs will not be available on-site, and all official transactions at the gates, bars, and internal transactions (water & ice, etc.) will exclusively accept credit and debit cards. Exhibitors have the option to accept cash at their discretion, and we have strongly encouraged them to be prepared to accept cards or other electronic payment methods to ensure a smooth and efficient transaction process for our guests. This shift reflects our commitment to security, efficiency, and the evolving preferences of our community. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we make this important transition. If you do not have a cashless payment option, you can purchase a VISA gift card from a nearby store.
Senior Cool Zones
Folks age 55 and older are welcome to chill out and re-hydrate at any of the two senior cool zones hosted by San Diego Pride. Senior Cool Zones are found at the following areas:
- The Dan Schaefer Memorial Cool Zone located in the upper loop
- Lower loop festival level
Senior Cool Zones are open from 11 AM-6 PM.
Senior Sunday
On Sunday, July 21st from 11 AM to 1 PM, seniors will receive free admission into the festival. Join us from 11 AM to 12:30 PM for a complementary Senior Sunday Coffee which includes complimentary bagels, fruit, and coffee.
