Bella Ross

Bella Ross is a local journalist who uses social media videos to inform San Diegans about how local government works and to promote civic engagement. They are passionate about accessible public infrastructure, civic education and using their platform to amplify the voices of underserved communities.

Outside of work, Ross likes to connect with the queer community through the arts, cycling and mutual aid. They’re also committed to supporting up-and-coming journalists through frequent student workshops and their role as an adjunct lecturer in SDSU’s journalism school. Ross identifies as bisexual and nonbinary and uses she/they pronouns.
