Struck by the high expense of quality marketing resources for nonprofits, Amanda founded Jupiter Production House in 2014 to offer affordable social media, video production and event planning services to nonprofits. She has over 10 years’ experience in social media and public relations.

Bob Leyh

Festival Manager

New York native, San Diego transplant. Came for the Navy, stayed for the weather. Human Resources professional.

Since 2007, Bob has been the Director of People & Culture (HR) at TechFlow, Inc., a San Diego based government contractor. Additional hats worn include Facilities, IT, Security and Training. A Navy veteran, Bob has a BA in History from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York and a Masters in Public Administration from National University, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management Labor Relations from New Hampshire University. A longtime San Diego volunteer, Bob has volunteered with Frontrunners & Walkers San Diego, Special Delivery San Diego, the San Diego Art Institute, AIDS Walk San Diego, Diversionary Theatre, Lambda Archives and San Diego Pride. Bob, along with his partner Bill McClain, live in Hillcrest with their Springer Spaniel – Max.

Chad has been a dedicated volunteer with San Diego Pride since 2008. He has worked in various departments and in different roles at both the Pride Festival and Parade.

Charlie began working with San Diego Pride in February, 2014, as a volunteer and a member of the History Committee, and also took on a role as Business Relationship Liaison.

Connor Maddocks

Festival Advisor

Connor is a former member of the San Diego Pride Board of Directors and has been an active volunteer for 11 years, now donating his time as the Pride Festival Advisor. He has been doing advocacy and civil rights work in the San Diego Transgender community for the past 12 years.

Edward Condreay Jr

While serving in the Marine Corps for nine years, his experience in leadership and organizational skills allowed him to adapt to many different areas and situations.

Through her commitment to the nonprofit sector and a background in
entertainment, Gardenia strives to bring a vibrant community of global artists together through music
to celebrate and support LGBTQIA

Jennifer Restle

Accessibly Coordinator: Communications

Jennifer Restle advocates and educates on issues of disability and bisexuality, which sprang from personal experience and began long before she knew the words to describe any of it.

Joseph (Joe) Smith

I am a Registered Nurse and work for San Diego County Sheriff’s Department. I joined the military as a medic (Corpsman) with the Marine Corps in 2004 where I practiced tactical medicine and care-under-fire as a Fleet Marine Force Warfare Specialist. I’ve been volunteering for 16 years and continue to do so with San Diego Pride since 2012.

Kara Lin

Marketing and Communications Coordinator

Kara, out lesbian and mother of 2, stays active in our LGBT community by donating her time volunteering with San Diego Pride and mingling with the Young Professionals Council. Her passion is working toward equality through social change. Since moving from Portland, Oregon in 2009, she has been utilizing her skills as a technical writer, graphic designer, and marketing specialist in San Diego to make the world a better place!

Throughout her work with the San Diego Unified School District and volunteering with various other organizations, Naomi has been consistent in her desire to help others and ensure that everyone is fully comfortable in their own life.


I moved to San Diego 14 years ago from France and started volunteering for San Diego Pride as a photographer the following year. Photography is a passion, so capturing the essence of Pride is an honor and it is always a pleasure to connect with staff, volunteers and the entire Pride family.
