Bio: Patrick Ehrhardt (he/him) is 32 years old and lives most of the year in the capital of Germany, Berlin. For many years he has curated various types of safer spaces for LGBTIQA* communities, organized various queer series and concepts and also acted as an organizer. As his last project, he launched Pride Month Berlin, which has now had two successful editions with over 150 events and the state government is now following its schedule. He has been a board member of the Berlin Pride and its associated NGO for three years. During this time, he and his team put the association on a stable and financially secure basement and sent important political messages from Berlin to the world but especially Eastern Europe, thengerman country side and African countries. He sees himself as a multiplier and platform for others. The Berlin Pride was also organized with this mission statement. Through his main job in one of the largest event realization companies and also through his own projects, he has extensive experience in operational business and the implementation of mass events. He designs strategic but also socio-political concepts for the association & brands and, among other things, advises companies on their path or product. For the Berlin Pride and association, he also reactivated and relaunched the grassroots democratic & political CSD Forum, which now formulates and addresses an enormously extensive, annual catalog of demands towards politicians, civil society and the economy leaders. His tasks have an intense, activist core, which primarily revolves around justice, equal treatment and feminism. Among other things, he ensures that global activists and Pride representatives have a voice. Through his work on Pride and his professional networking with large and international brands, one core element connects all his goals – bringing entertainment and activism together! Because content and reach complement and need each other: “We just don’t want to see that in our world”.

After his three-year term as board member of one of the largest demonstrations and final rallies in the world, he is now active as a special representative and rapporteur as well as advisor to the board. In this interim position, he will dedicate himself to preparing all executive tasks, especially activist and political matters, but also to his national, European and international work regarding Berlin Pride and it’s memberships. He is also able to be present as a speaker now and then for brand building, diversity, strategy, operations and equality and has been able to accompany various local, national and international panels and conferences.
