Bio: Need something done – then do it! That’s the mantra that motivated me to create the Lesbian Mothers Group, a French Immersion residential camp and the HIV/AIDS Committee of Grey Bruce in the 90’s which all led to Capital Pride and the Police Services LGBT Liaison Cttee, Fierté Canada Pride and Interpride.
Although retired from actually working for a living, a group of us are now planning an afternoon Pride event in Ottawa’s lonely West end featuring bands, drag, a children’s area and an information fair.
