Bio: Daniel Waycik brings more than 10 years of experience working within the crown and para-governmental sectors in Canada, leading programs focused on internal capacity development surrounding operations, security, safety, and well-being. One has expertise in facilitation, policy and operations development, and stakeholder engagement, specializing in programs that leverage existing capacities and foster collaboration for operations involving participation from multiple organizations. Daniel is currently engaged with several pilot programs in the inner city of Winnipeg, Canada, employing a community-informed, person-centered approach to tackle challenges related to safety, well-being, and system navigation barriers.
Although Daniel is a seasoned event professional, one has only recently begun working with the local Pride organization in Winnipeg as the Logistics Coordinator. Daniel has quickly felt welcomed into the community, both as a professional and as an individual, and is humbled by the opportunity to share their experience on topics that are not only their career focus but are also of immediate relevance to our community.
