About:
Kelcie serves as the Deputy Executive Director for San Diego Pride, providing strategic and operational leadership in the efforts to fund Pride’s robust and innovative year-round programming.
Prior to joining San Diego Pride, Kelcie worked with organizations including The Arc of San Diego, Poway Center for the Performing Arts, and Special Olympics of Southern California, gaining 15 years of experience in volunteer management, program administration, fundraising, business development, and senior leadership. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with Honors from Texas Tech University where she earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees. She holds a Certificate in Fundraising Management from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and is a SHRM Certified Professional.
Outside of work, Kelcie has a demonstrated history of leadership within the LGBTQ community. She founded and was the past chair of She Fest, San Diego Pride’s annual LGBTQ women’s event and year-round program. Kelcie also has served as Volunteer Coordinator for San Diego Indie Fest and was on planning committees for the LGBT Center’s Women’s Fest and Dyke March. She also buttles for her elderly dachshund, Scout, and enjoys hiking, writing, true crime, and supporting local eateries with her wife, Gina.
