Kristin Flickinger
Pronouns: She/Her/Hers
About:
An activist at her core, Kristin has dedicated her career to advancing LGBTQ+ rights and building thriving communities. She began her work in the movement as an intern for the National Gay & Lesbian Task Force in the 1990s and quickly rose to leadership, managing a field office during the same-sex marriage campaigns of the 2000s.
Kristin brings extensive experience from her time at the Los Angeles LGBT Center, where she served as the Director of Programs for the world’s largest LGBTQ+ organization. There, she oversaw critical services for youth, seniors, women, and trans and nonbinary people. She also led AIDS/LifeCycle, helping to raise over $20 million for HIV services and care.
Most recently, Kristin served as Executive Director of the Pacific Pride Foundation—the largest LGBTQ+ organization between San Francisco and Los Angeles—where she led a passionate team through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and successfully relaunched the Pacific Pride Festival through partnerships with more than 40 community organizations.
Kristin is also the Principal and Founder of Flickinger Consulting, LLC, specializing in executive support, transition planning, and leadership coaching rooted in joy and sustainability.
When she’s not building movements, Kristin enjoys long-distance cycling, teaching her husky to communicate with buttons, and pursuing her dream of competing on the television show SURVIVOR.
