The LGBTQ+ Latine Coalition, an integral program of San Diego Pride, proudly announces its third annual Latine Pride Celebration on Saturday, September 16, 2023. Celebrate the power of Queer Latinidad in this free, family friendly event. Enjoy a variety of music, drag, performances, vendors, and art, all from our beautiful Latine community. 

For the third anniversary of LGBTQ+ Latine Pride in San Diego, this year’s theme is “Florecer” to celebrate queer resilience in the face of hate!

Community Resources

  • Colectivo Viva Vivo Binacional: A binational organization based in San Diego that works with shelters in Tijuana to provide critical support to LGBTQIA+ and Trans asylum seekers who live with HIV.
  • Rainbow Spaces: Inclusive events for LGBTQ+ youth whose unique barriers often go unaddressed. 
  • TransFamily Support Services: Support for trans and gender diverse families.
  • Proyecto Trans Latina San Diego: A non-profit organization with the purpose of empowering, educating and informing our LGBT+ Latinx community.
  • San Diego Community College District: San Diego City, Mesa, Miramar, and Continuing Education facilities provide safe-zone training and ensure safety and inclusion for LGBTQ students, faculty, and staff. 
  • The Center Latino/Latin@x Services: The San Diego LGBT Community Center established Latino/Latin@x Services in 2004, the first program in the region to provide culturally-affirming services for the LGBTQ+ Latino/a/e/x community.
  • Family Health Centers of San Diego: Provides care for those living with HIV, health education, assistance with navigating appointments, trans healthcare, PrEP/PEP navigation, substance use disorder services, affinity groups, and more. 
  • Free Mom Hugs: A nonprofit organization that is focused on empowering the world to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community through visibility, conversation and education. 
  • En Mi Palma: A mutual aid organization aimed to uplift community and embrace diversity through different mediums.
  • Vida Organization: VIDA is dedicated to resolving the HIV crisis within the Latine community where social stigma, poverty, language barriers, education, access to care, deter testing and increase the infection rate.
  • Sunrise San Diego: We are a local youth-led climate movement fighting for a livable future. We advocate for social housing, guaranteed living-wage jobs for anyone who needs one, and clean & renewable energy.
