For generations, artists have been at the center of LGBTQIA+ resistance and liberation movements. Music, fashion, performance, and creative expression have long given voice to our truths, our struggles, and our joy… often when the world tried to silence them. Pride stages continue that legacy by creating space for artists to inspire, challenge, and bring people together in celebration and solidarity.
At San Diego Pride, we take that responsibility seriously. Our programming reflects a deep commitment to celebrating established artists while also nurturing emerging voices and uplifting the extraordinary talent within our own community. From international headliners to local performers taking the stage for the first time, every artist contributes to the story of Pride.
We’re thrilled to announce that electronic powerhouse duo Krewella and global pop sensation Saturday night will belong to Krewella, the boundless electronic duo comprised of sisters Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf. Known for their electrifying live performances and genre-blending sound, Krewella first broke onto the global stage with their chart-topping debut EP Play Hard and platinum-selling hit “Alive.”
Closing out the festival on Sunday is MARINA, the platinum-selling pop visionary returning with her newest era, PRINCESS OF POWER. Written during a period of deep personal reflection, the album marks a powerful turning point for the artist, exploring healing, empowerment, and self-reclamation.
Each summer, the San Diego Pride Festival brings together tens of thousands of people to celebrate LGBTQIA+ culture, community and resilience. The two-day event features multiple stages of live entertainment, community resources, art, and spaces where LGBTQIA+ people and allies can gather, celebrate, and organize for a more inclusive future. San Diego Pride raises funds primarily through festival ticket and beverage sales, and through sponsorships, and exhibitor fees. These funds support San Diego Pride’s community philanthropy which has distributed more than $2.5 million in advancement of its mission to foster pride, equality, and respect for all lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities locally, nationally, and globally.
