September 25, 2013 SAN DIEGO PRIDE BEGINS 2013 GRANT PROCESS AND COMMUNITY SURVEY SAN DIEGO – San Diego LGBT Pride is pleased to announce that due to the success of this year’s Pride event, themed Freedom to Love and Marry, we are able to continue our tradition of community giving. In addition to being a celebration, Pride is our community’s biggest fundraiser of the year,” said San Diego LGBT Pride’s General Manager Stephen Whitburn. “It is exciting for us to know that funds raised during Pride weekend are now available to be given to our community organizations.” Pride will be accepting grant requests of amounts ranging from $500.00 to $5,000.00 until Friday, October 25, 2013 at 5:00 pm PST.
