The annual She Fest Flagship is a street-fair style event with performances on one main stage, vendors, workshops, and activities. This event centers LGBTQ+ women and non-binary people and welcomes all who find community amongst these identities. She Fest is explicitly inclusive and affirming of trans people, intersex people, and non-binary people.
She Fest is located at the Hillcrest Pride Flag (on Normal St. between University Ave. and Lincoln Ave.)
She Fest will take place on Saturday, July 13, 2024.
She Fest starts at 12 PM and ends at 6 PM. You can come at any time and stay for as long as you would like within those times.

She Fest is free and open to the public.

Service animals are permitted throughout She Fest.
Please note that this event is open to the public and non-service animal pets may be present.
Water will be provided for service animals and dogs at the Information Booth, near the intersection of Normal St. & Harvey Milk St.
Service animal relief areas will be at any grassy or dirt patches along Normal St. A good area is the grassy area near the corner of Harvey Milk St. and Normal St. Waste can be discarded at any of the trash cans throughout She Fest.

She Fest welcomes dogs. Please review the following guidelines before bringing your dog:
- - Dogs should be current on required vaccinations.
  - Dogs should be on flea and tick prevention and show no signs of an infestation.
  - Dogs must be well socialized. Dogs that show reactivity to people, children or other dogs will not be allowed to attend.
  - Dogs must have a collar/harness with a current ID tag and be on a leash or in a carrier at all times.
  - Participants are expected to practice responsible pet ownership.
  - Please come prepared to clean up after your dog.
  - Please note that She Fest is on a blacktop street that gets hot in the summer. Please protect your dog from burning their paws and overheating.
Water will be provided for dogs at the Information Booth, near the intersection of Normal St. & Harvey Milk St.

She Fest is accessible to all mobility devices.
She Fest will have multiple break areas throughout the event to rest as needed.
A limited number of mobility devices will be available for use at the event. We encourage guests to bring their own mobility devices, if available. If you do not have your own device or find yourself needing one on the day of, we can provide one for you on a first come, first served basis. You can pick up a mobility device at the Information Booth.
She Fest is on mostly even terrain on a black-top street. There may be some bumps and pot-holes, and the street may get hot.
Accessible, gender-inclusive portable restrooms will be available at this event.

She Fest will have a Sensory Break Area for anyone who may become overwhelmed with the activities of the event.
Here are some examples of sensory stimulation that you may encounter at She Fest:
- - Loud music at our entertainment stage
  - Many people walking around and talking to each other and vendors
  - Bright colors
  - Heat from the sun and street, depending on the weather
  - Scents from food vendors
  - Tasting food or snacks from vendors
  - Scents from our portable toilets
She Fest volunteers and event coordinators are encouraged to refrain from wearing scented products.
She Fest will have noise-reducing headphones and fidget toys available for use at the event. These can be picked up at our Information Booth, near the intersection of Normal St. & Harvey Milk St.

American Sign Language (ASL) Interpretation for on-stage performances and workshops will be provided. ASL Interpreters will also be available to assist with personal communication throughout the event. You can check in at the Information Booth, near the intersection of Normal St. & Harvey Milk St., if you would like to be paired with an interpreter.

Limited street parking is available as well as parking at the DMV, which can be accessed via Cleveland Ave.
- - Limited ADA parking is available on University Ave. and surrounding streets, as well as in the DMV lot.

- - Bus 1 – Get off at stop University Ave. & Normal St. (150 ft. from entrance) or University Ave. and Richmond St. (400 ft. from entrance)
  - Bus 11 – Get off at stop University Ave. & Normal St. (150 ft. from entrance) or University Ave. and Richmond St. (400 ft. from entrance)
  - Bus 10 – Get off at University Ave. & Park Blvd. (0.2 miles from entrance, downhill) or University Ave. & Vermont St. (0.2 miles from entrance)
  - Bus 215 – Get off at University Ave. & Park Blvd. (0.2 miles from entrance, downhill)
  - If you use MTS Access, you can set your drop-off location to 3900 Normal St, San Diego, CA 92103. (Please note this service may be limited or unavailable at this time.)

San Diego Pride adheres to best-practice COVID protocols based on local, state, federal, and global health guidelines.
As we navigate a world where COVID continues to be present, we ask that you not attend if you test positive for COVID, feel sick or ill or present any symptoms associated with COVID.
Face coverings, vaccinations, and obtaining a negative COVID-19 test, if accessible to you, are strongly recommended for attending this event.
This event will be outside. Guests may be in close vicinity to one another, but there are many opportunities to distance yourself as needed.
Masks, hand sanitizer, and hand wash stations will be available at this event.
Please follow all CDC guidelines and recommendations for your safety and the safety of others.

Food will be available for purchase from food trucks at this event. Food options will be announced closer to the event date. We will do our best to provide a variety of dietary options.
Free water refill stations will be available at this event. Please bring a reusable water bottle for use.
There are many great restaurant options around Hillcrest for dining as well.
You are welcomed to bring your own food, snacks, and water to sustain you throughout the day.
