TeenVersionary

Welcome to one of Diversionary Theatre’s most popular Youth programs: TeenVersionary. It continues to be a space where LGBTQIA+ teens [ages 13 to 17 (18 if still in high school)] come into their voice–discover, explore and build community with other teens of LGBTQIA+ affinity.

This year’s TeenVersionary program shares its theme with San Diego Pride: “Making History Now” with an addendum–“Step into Your Power”. We are calling all LGBTQIA+ teens and allied teens to collaborate on a new piece of theatre. We will explore queer themes and issues specifically illuminating LGBTQIA+ youth experiences. This new piece of theatre infuses queer youth experiences with movement, music and more. The TeenVersionary program culminates if public performances during the second weekend of SD Pride.

These performances are free to the community and take place on the Diversionary Theatre main stage. Performances are July 19th, 20th & 21st. More info regarding the varied times of each performance are our website: www.diversionary.org/teen-versionary
