Joe Fejeran
Joe is a community leader, organizer, and advocate dedicated to preserving LGBTQ+ history and creating affirming spaces for QTBIPOC communities in San Diego. Since 2024, he has co-produced the Freaky Kiki Horror Ball alongside Amber St. James and San Diego Princess Sharaven, using Ballroom culture and horror-inspired performance to raise funds for Lambda Archives of San Diego and cultivate an affirming cultural space that uplifts creativity, identity, and community power. Joe currently serves as Board President of Lambda Archives, where he has prioritized organizational stability, sustainability, and the preservation of LGBTQ+ history. He has also contributed to progressive leadership development across the region as co-chair of the San Diego Leadership Alliance Institute. Since 2023, Joe has supported San Diego Pride through initiatives including Light Up the Cathedral and “Pride Inside” programming at Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility. Known as a thoughtful community connector, Joe is deeply committed to building relationships that make people feel seen, valued, and supported across generations.
