Jim Seal
Jim has been working for LGBT rights since the 1970s. He was a board member of the New York City Heritage of Pride, President of the Gay Officers Actions League (GOAL), and served on the Mayor’s Advisory Board for Gay and Lesbian Concerns. He relocated to San Diego in 1989 and was eventually employed by San Diego County Probation for 20 years before retiring. While with Probation, he served as the chair of Probation’s Diversity Committee. Since his retirement, he is once again volunteering in our community with the Fellowship of Older Gays and is currently their president. He is also on the South Bay Pride Steering Committee and is a representative to the Community Leadership Council. Wanting to serve the community further, he joined the San Diego Pride Board in January 2016 with the hope and desire to share his passion, excitement, and leadership abilities to further the mission and vision of San Diego Pride.
