About:
Johnny serves as the Director of Finance and Operations for San Diego Pride, with the goal to insure sound and accurate accounting methods in order to comply with non-profit organization guidelines.
Johnny has 5 years experience in public and private accounting along with 20 years working in education. He holds a BS in Mathematics, Master of Education, and Master of Accounting from National University where he also worked in developing, training, and implementing student finance advisement procedures for the university. His success at NU stems from his ability to approach all people without bias and genuine care for the success of all students and staff. He brings these tools to SD Pride to support leadership and staff in the effort to secure a solid foundation and future.
In his spare time, Johnny uses his bilingual skills to support small Latino businesses with understanding accounting and tax policies and procedures. With the few hours left in the day, he enjoys a good concert, nice restaurant, family cookouts, and strumming away at his small collection of guitars.
